Lawyers at Libraries – Danbury Location
The Connecticut Bar Association is seeking members in the greater Danbury area to assist at the Danbury location of Lawyers in Libraries. This program offers pro bono assistance to the public once a month at the Danbury Public Library. The most common areas of need are immigration, landlord/tenant, family law, will/estate planning, and personal injury. Referrals are encouraged! The clients sign a waiver and insurance is provided by the CBA for CBA members. The location occurs on the last Wednesday of each month, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
We have three attorneys signed up as of this email, but are looking for a few more so we can have a rotation every other month.
